It’s winter. I don’t mean to state the obvious but it’s really hard for me to face the reality of snow and cold temperatures for the next few months. So, as I am bundling up, I’m and already planning my spring race schedule and a warm weather vacation to get me out of this funk! I also have one more trick up my sleeve to keep me occupied through these dreary winter months. This trick has to do with Tria Beauty and prepping for the warmer days ahead!
To give you some background, back in October, I met a few representatives from Tria at Fitness Magazine’s Meet & Tweet event. I was already familiar with Tria and their products since I purchased an original Tria Hair Removal Laser back in 2011. At the Meet & Tweet event, I pleasantly surprised by how much their products have changed and improved over the years! Tria was the first company to bring FDA-cleared hair removal lasers into the home. And, now, thanks to Tria, I am going to be providing you with a series of posts on their newer and much smaller device, the Hair Removal Laser Precision! Focusing on beautifying for the spring will certainly help distract me from the cold, right?
So far, it seems as though Tria Hair Removal Laser Precision is the answer to the problems I had with the larger Tria Hair Removal Laser I purchased a few years ago. This new device is specifically designed for your underarms, bikini line, and other small sensitive areas. One of the most difficult things about my old system was the weight of the device. It was really top heavy and tiresome to use. Thankfully, the new device weighs in at a mere 7 ounces and boasts a slender shape that allows for easier control. All in all, with these changes to the device, I think I am ready to tackle the more delicate areas that I tended to shy away from years ago.
If you are wondering how the Tria Hair Removal Laser Precision works, according to the makers, “Tria Laser Precision is built on the principle of selective photothermolysis. Beams of laser energy are absorbed by the dark pigment in the hair follicles and converted to heat. The laser energy disables the hair follicle, preventing it from growing new hair.” Ideally, over the course of using the device every few weeks over several months, you will have less hair to fuss with and you can say goodbye to ingrown hairs. For someone that likes to be able to throw on running clothes at a moment’s notice and hit the road, this sounds amazing. No more showing up to your running group with out of control armpit hair. Come on, I can’t be alone on this… There has to be someone out there that has dealt with this!
I have to say that I can’t wait to see how this new laser works. I plan to target the upper lip and underarms for the treatments that I will share on the blog. The thought of not having to shave my armpits by next spring, aka tank top weather, has me really excited! I look forward to sharing more about this process in the coming weeks!
So tell me, what aspects of the Tria Hair Removal Laser Precision would you like me to document? Have you ever tried laser hair removal? Wish me luck on starting my treatments!

Hey Lisa, great blog!
How did you go with the Tria? How many treatments have you had so far? I started with the precision and moved up to the Tria 4x (wanted to do all over my body), and am happy with the results. I did a review of both of the Tria's http://homehairremovalreview.com/2015/01/tria-rev… – Love to hear how your results are coming along!
My recent post Tria Reviews
I’m on month three of using the Tria. Progress is slow but it is coming along. I hope to have an updated post about my progress up on my blog shortly!
