On Sunday, June 14th, Skirt Sports is hosting the Skirt Sports 13er Half Marathon, 5k and 10k in Louisville, Colorado. Since, I can’t make it out to Colorado, I am planning on joining the #runcelebration right here in NY. Who? YOU. Feel free to partner up with some of your running friends or go at it solo.
What? Skirt Sports 13er, 10k, or 5k (Colorado and virtual race options!)
When? Complete the virtual race from June 13-16th.
Where? On the treadmill, on the trails, in your neighborhood… You pick the route! So, that means that you can eliminate hills from this race since YOU make the route!
Why? The 13er Virtual Half participants will receive a Skirt Sports Gift Certificate ($50.00 for the BASIC LEVEL), Finisher Skirt, 13er race bib, a goody bag from the sponsors, monthly newsletter and training tips, and a contribution to the Skirt Sports Kick Start Program.

Virtual races are becoming my new favorite thing! It's hard without the crowd support, but it allows me to break up my run/race if need be (allergies were NUTS a few weekends ago, so I had to do half of my 10k outside and then when I couldn't breathe anymore, had to take the second half inside on the treadmill).
