Disclaimer: As an Ambassador for Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon, I received complementary Nourish Savannah Natural Bath Products. Nourish Savannah is a sponsor of the Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon. As always, all opinions are my own.
Since moving to Georgia, my family and I have quickly fallen in love with Savannah. Wandering around the squares and downtown streets exploring is one of our favorite ways to spend the weekend. Early in December, as we shopped for Christmas goodies, we stumbled upon the Nourish, home of a wonderful assortment of natural bath products. We love supporting local companies and Nourish did not disappoint! The company originally started as an idea between current owner Shoshanna Walker and her soap making mother in 2000. Today, there are several locations throughout Georgia, South Carolina, Florida and Tennessee. As the Nourish website mentions,
At Nourish, we are proud to be doing our part to keep the planet clean while reducing our carbon footprint. We have operated as a green company since the 1990’s, providing environmentally friendly, non-toxic, and biodegradable products that are good for our bodies and the earth. We make recycling a priority and invest in every effort to minimize the environmental impact of our daily routine. [Nourish] only packages in recyclable, reusable and/or biodegradable containers.
As always, Nourish products contain:
• no parabens
• no sodium lauryl sulphate or sodium laureth sulfate
• no animal products
• no petroleum
• no harsh detergents
• no mineral oil
Our favorite Nourish Savannah Natural Bath Products are the bath bombs, or as Nourish named them, Fizzes. There is absolutely nothing better than soaking in a warm tub with wonderful smells surrounding you! I have to keep my daughter out of my secret supply. Although, I will say that buying the Eco 6-pack comes in handy and saves us some money!
Shower steamers are a really great alternative to use when you don’t have the time for a soak in the tub! Place a Shower Steamer in the shower on a flat surface out of the direct spray of the shower. Drop a little water to activate the steamer and enjoy the spa experience of pure essential oils as the steam of your shower mixes with the essential oils! I personally love the Mint Julep Steamer because it contains an essential oil blend to help fight fatigue, headaches, and migraines.
As noted above, bar soaps are the backbone of Nourish. While there are plenty of amazing scents for like the lavender bar pictured, did you know that Nourish also carries baby and dog products! Yes, you read that right! While Nourish products are perfect for the sensitive skin of adults, they also offers a very gentle baby bar. Also, the Nourish Don’t Bug Me Bars are available to keep you and your pet bug free. These bars are perfect for those of you, and your four-legged friends, that love spending time outdoors!
The Nourish Bath Salts are perfect for runners! Relaxation is the name of the game with the lavender-scented bath salts. Since the Nourish bath salts are filled with potassium and magnesium, they assist in reducing stress and tension. Plus, they can ease sore and achy runner’s muscles. Plus, light one of their soy candles by the bathtub and you are in for a really relaxing treat!
As a race sponsor for the Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon, Nourish Savannah Natural Bath Products will be available at the Fashion Fitness Expo. Plus, you are always welcome to visit their beautiful Savannah storefront on 202 West Broughton Street as you explore during your weekend getaway!
