Disclaimer: This is a sponsored conversation written on behalf of Suave via MSB New Media. As always, all opinions are my own. It’s hard to believe that five years ago, I was preparing for two major life events, the birth of my daughter and the deployment of my husband. Unfortunately, those events were set to coincide with one another. Thankfully, my husband was able to stay behind and rejoin his squadron two weeks after the birth of our daughter, Cora. I’m still so grateful that {Read More}
Five Reasons to love your BOSU Balance Trainer!
Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by BOSU and the Fit Approach community. All opinions expressed are my own. Earlier this month, I participated in the BOSU and Sweat Pink #FitFamily Challenge. I had the opportunity to test out the BOSU HOME BALANCE TRAINER and Cora received the BOSU SPORT 50CM BALANCE TRAINER. Back when I had a gym membership, I used a BOSU ball regularly so it is awesome to now have one in my ever-growing home gym. Today, I’m joining the Friday Five {Read More}

While I was compensated to review and write a post about Mighty Nut Powdered Peanut Butter, all opinions are my own. If you take a peek into my pantry, you will notice a stockpile of several different types of nut butters. From almond to cashew and my beloved peanut butters, I use them all. Since powered peanut butter is creeping into the nut butter scene, I was very {Read More}

Quick #MealPrep with Suddenly Grain Salad
If you are anything like me, you are always looking for a way to squeeze every single moment out of the day. With packed schedules the moment our feet hit the floor in the morning, why leave cooking dinner to when you are exhausted from a long day of work, school, errands, you name it! Join me in the #BOSUStrong Four Week Challenge!
Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by BOSU and the Sweat Pink community. All opinions expressed are my own. I hope you will join in on the fun! If there is one thing that you have probably noticed around this blog, I cross-train in spurts. I’m not exactly sure why I am so hit or miss since I know the value it brings to my running. Back in 2013, I cross-trained consistently. This resulted in setting personal records in the 5k, 10k, and {Read More}
Friday Five: Life Lately
So, lately, I suck at blogging and it seems to be pushed to the bottom of the priority list every darn week. It’s not that I don’t have plenty of ideas whirling around in my head. It’s just that the motivation to put it down on paper, or this website, disappears when my free time is limited to late night and early mornings. Thanks to the lovely ladies of the DC Trifecta (Mar + Cynthia + Courtney) and their Friday Five {Read More}
Volunteering at the West Point Triathlon
This weekend, I had the opportunity to volunteer with Team Red, White and Blue at the West Point Triathlon. When there was a call out for volunteers, I signed our little family up to help with the adult triathlon. Jake and Cora were later filled in on my bright idea. Seriously though… I run so many races and truly am thankful for the support of volunteers on each and every race day. I thought that it would be a great way {Read More}
Race Recap: L.L. Bean 10k & Family Fun Run 2015
For the fourth year in a row, we celebrated the Fourth of July in Freeport, Maine. It’s one of my favorite places to relax and run! After missing out on the L.L. Bean 10k last year, I knew I wanted to be in town for the 2015 L.L. Bean 10k & Family Fun Run. I love the support that the Freeport community brings to this race each and every year. With no more than 1,500 runners, the size of this race {Read More}
