February 2017 Update

How is it already February 2017?  Mid-February at that!  I swear, it is getting harder and harder to carve out space to sit down and write out my thoughts on my blog these days.  Don’t get me wrong.  Life is full.  Full of wonderful things like digging into a training plan {finally!}, spending time with family and friends, and spending lots of time at my wonderfully fulfilling and equally exhausting job. Friday Five: Looking Back a Decade

Today, I’m linking up with the Friday Five crew, Mar, Cynthia, and Courtney for a post that takes you and shares what I was up to ten years ago.  Looking back a decade sounded like too much fun to pass up and a great opportunity to reminisce…. My #1 Challenge…

You might think that my #1 challenge right now is training for my marathon. Well…. while that certainly a challenge, I have something else that is mentally zapping me these days.  It’s my career. I know I don’t often talk about my work but since moving to West Point, NY, I have finally felt the pressures of being a military spouse and juggling my career.  Over the past few years, I have been fortunate enough to continue working with the {Read More}

Here goes nothing… The start of Lisa Runs for Cupcakes

Here goes nothing…  The start of Lisa Runs for Cupcakes I know that there are tons of running, fitness, and healthy living blogs out there.  But for me, a blog sounds like the perfect way to make sure that I hold myself accountable to my running and fitness goals.  I hope that this blog will light enough of a fire to keep me running. So a little about me… The past 18 months were a whirlwind complete with: – the {Read More}
