On January 20th, 2013, I ran the second annual Tinker Bell Half Marathon. The morning started off incredibly early, I think around 3am to be exact. All I have to say is thank goodness everything at Disneyland is within walking distance (such a nice perk compared to Disney World!). My friend Cait and I made it to the bag check area within fifteen minutes of leaving the hotel. I forgot to take my iPod out of my checked bag (genius) {Read More}

A runDisney PR
Okay, so my last post about the new ZOOMA Personal Best program got me thinking about my PERSONAL BEST this past weekend! Heading into the Tink Half on Sunday, I knew I wanted to race UNDER TWO HOURS, a goal that has loomed over my head since my last half in June 2012. Having run a lot of shorter distance races and a pretty solid run at the Army Ten Miler, I believed that I could have a shiny new personal {Read More}
PR with ZOOMA

Tinker Bell Half Meet Up
As I mentioned in a post last week, I was lucky enough to secure a slot at the runDisney Tinker Bell Half Marathon Meet Up event on Friday morning. I shot out of bed at 4:45am, well before my alarm. This was probably due to my excitement and the east coast to west coast time difference. I made my way downstairs and to the meet up location where we all received our runDisney shirts. Introductions were made by runDisney team member Bob Hitchcock. Special guest introductions included {Read More}

Race Bib Provided by Lisa @ RunWiki As a mother, reading about Kyle’s fight puts a pit in my stomach. I know that if I were {Read More}
The Liebster Award!
A few weeks ago I received the Liebster Award from We Run Disneyand Running on Candy! And that also reminded me that I received the Liebster award from Run Find Your Happy Pace a super long time ago and never posted my answers! Sorry RFYHP! So, what is the Liebster Award you ask? Well, Liebster is German for “dearest” and this award it given to fellow bloggers with less than 200 followers as a way to spread the “new blogger” {Read More}
