Busy Life? Everyday Healthy Habits

I’m certainly not perfect and I am a work in progress when it comes to developing everyday healthy habits. As a working mom, I never feel as though time is on my side. Since my job as a social worker can sometimes be very demanding of my time and even requires on-call hours, I have to make it a point to stay on track. Whether or not you are a working mom, here are a few healthy habits that you can incorporate in your busy life!

  1. Get your beauty sleep. I cannot stress this enough. My husband can attest that I do not mess around with getting enough sleep. If I don’t get the amount of sleep my body wants, it isn’t pretty. How can you put your best foot forward at work, with your family, or in fitness if you are exhausted?
  1. Drink your water. I personally have a difficult time making sure I stay hydrated. One of my tricks is to make sure I refill my large water bottle at least twice during the workday. If you need a little flavor, add a little Nuun Hydration to give it a boost! This way, if you are like me and exercise after work, you will be plenty hydrated.
  1. Find an accountability tool or friend. Whether you use a fitness tracker like a Fitbit, online support group, or a local friend, I think it is important to find a way to make sure that you are holding yourself accountable to your fitness goals. Working in an office, I really struggle with getting movement in throughout the day. My Fitbit is there to reminder me to take the stairs or to take a long walk to the water fountain. And, having a little healthy competition with my husband on hitting our daily step goals doesn’t hurt either!
  1. Plan for success. For me, getting proper nutrition is a challenge. To be successful, I have to plan my meals, grocery shop accordingly, and make my meals in advance to take to work for lunch and breakfast. I know that if I am too lazy to prep my meals for work, I will end up grabbing something from a convenient location and that usually isn’t the healthiest option.
  1. Make a multivitamin part of your daily routine! This winter, I started using Airborne® Everyday™. These new chewable gummies contain a daily multivitamin plus Airborne® immune support. Since most days I am running around the house before work, having the extra immunity support included alongside the multivitamin is incredibly helpful. I know that I can’t be the only one out there to struggle with remembering my own health with everything that is going on in life!

I would love for you to be able to try Airborne® Everyday™ for yourself! Thanks to the folks at Airborne®, three lucky readers will each receive 1 Bottle of Airborne® Everyday™.
