Race Expo: Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run

Last Friday, I ended up having a bit of time to squeeze in the Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run race expo.  I figured it would be much easier heading to the expo solo rather than trying to bring my daughter along on Saturday.  The expo was at the gorgeous National Building Museum, just across the street from the Judiciary Square Metro stop.   Big thanks to the race organizers for making it super convenient to attend.  There were plenty of volunteers {Read More}

PR with ZOOMA

Who doesn’t love to set a personal record(PR)?  Whether it is hard earned or seemingly a fluke, the feeling of achieving a PR never gets old for me.  And now, the ZOOMA race series is recognizing the challenge of setting a PR at one of their races. Race Recap: ZOOMA Half Marathon June 2, 2012

After a bit of a heat wave, the tornado-like weather brought about the perfect race conditions for Saturday morning.  The temperature started off in the 60s with a breeze off the water with sun filled skies by mid race.  My friend Niki and I arrived at the start a little bit behind schedule.  I decided to wait in line for the toilets while she went to the bag check.  I am so glad I made the pit stop but man {Read More}

ZOOMA Swag

Lots of cute swag from the lovely folks at ZOOMA! It started off with the ZOOMA Annapolis black technical t-shirt and the over the shoulder gear check bag.  This is the first time I have seen this design for a gear check bag; it is kind of a nice change from the drawstring backpack thing (you know what I’m talking about right? LOL).  And thank you for having a women’s fit t-shirt with a v-neck! And even though I love medals, {Read More}
