Year of Running 2014

Year in Running 2014

I can’t believe that another year is coming to a close. With it being New Year’s Eve, I love taking a look back at all the wonderful experiences running brought me in 2014! Many thanks to Amanda, also known as Miss Zippy, for hosting this annual link-up! Best race experience? The best race experience of my year was at the Disney Princess Half Marathon weekend. However, it had nothing to do with my running. Cora ran her very first Kid’s Races {Read More}

The Best Race of My Life!

Cora

I ran the best race of my life this weekend! Okay, so it wasn’t my race at all. It was Cora’s very first race, the runDisney 100m Kids Race! When Cora isn’t attending her fair share of races as my #1 cheerleader, she is often “running marathons” around our house. On Labor Day weekend, The Disneyland 10k was the first part of the inaugural Dumbo Double Dare Challenge. Thanks to the time change, I was up and ready to roll for this run. From the Grand California, we had a really short walk to the starting area. When we got there it was a bit confusing since the 5k had just started. And, that also meant the 10k runners were being held and not allowed into the corrals. Jake said {Read More}
